How much do you know about radon? If you do some research online, you will likely find some conflicting reports. Some people in both the lay community and the scientific community believe that low levels of radon pose little to no risk to humans. One scientist even went as far as challenging the EPA.
In response to this challenge, the World Health Organization (WHO) decided to conduct an investigation. They concluded that this scientist had faulty information and they sided with the EPA. In addition, the American Medical Association, Center for Disease Control and American Lung Association all agree that radon is harmful to our health. These organizations encourage people to be vigilant in testing their homes and workplaces. A simple test can bring peace of mind.
